Millennium Fellowship Project: MindsCap Project
Mindscap is an initiative that is dedicated to bringing free and affordable therapy to our communities. Our mission is to make mental health services accessible to everyone who needs it, regardless of their background or financial situation. Through innovative technology, we are creating a platform that connects individuals with licensed therapists. But we didn't stop there, we've also established mental health clubs, safe and inclusive spaces where individuals can come together to connect, support each other, and engage in activities that promote mental well-being. We believe that by combining the convenience of our app with the power of human connection through our mental health clubs, we can create a holistic and transformative experience for individuals seeking support.
About the Millennium Fellow
NAMUYINGO HAJARAH is a student at Kampala International University (western campus).Hajarah is excited to join minded individuals in MCN to change issues that affect our communities. She believes that through this exposure, we shall reach even more people to work with and partner with for the success of our project. As a leader, I am transparent and believe in team work yields better fruits .I therefore look forward to promoting mental health awareness , providing support and resources to the student body. Am so humbled for the position awarded to me of Emerging Technologist of this year and I look forward to engaging with other emerging technologists across other nations.
