Millennium Fellowship Project: Clean hands, Sanitize Health

The "Clean Hands, Sanitize Health" initiative, led by Yahaya Ibrahim and Munkaila Fatima, is a community-driven project in the North East Region of Ghana. Rooted in the commitment of Millennium Fellows, the project focuses on instilling proper handwashing practices and promoting hygiene awareness among students. The initiative successfully distributed hygiene materials and documented qualitative improvements in awareness and behavior change. The project's significance lies in its contribution to hygiene education, behavior change, and community engagement, emphasizing the transformative power of collaborative efforts for a healthier and more hygienic future.

About the Millennium Fellow

Fatima Mukaila, a proficient statistics scholar at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi. Passionate about sustainable development and social impact, Fatima is dedicated to addressing global challenges through collaborative efforts and innovative solutions. Her fascination lies in harnessing statistical insights to effect positive change on a global scale. Hailing from a diverse academic background, Fatima's journey embodies the fellowship's mission, as she aspires to use her skills to address pressing challenges and advance sustainable solutions. In the future, she envisions pursuing advanced studies in statistics to further contribute to impactful initiatives.
