Millennium Fellowship Project: SHAPE (Sexual Harrasment Awareness Programme & Empowerement)
It is a project to impact children in a positive way by empowering them against sexual harassment and how not only females but also males can be harassed in the current society. Via this, we try to break the gender barriers and teach them how to tackle the situation, when in one.
About the Millennium Fellow
Bandana Mishra is pursuing her BA LLB (Hons) from Symbiosis Law School Pune. She is a passionate and enthusiastic individual who believes in the power of teamwork. Her project SHAPE (Sexual Harassment Awareness Programme and Empowerment) mostly focuses on moulding the young minds of today for a better tomorrow. The tagline, "SHAPE the mindsets, SHAPE the society, " is primarily focused on creating awareness about the sexual harassment issues prevalent in society, the concept of good touch-bad touch, and the normality of the LGBTQ+ community in society. This is an initiative to push beyond the gender paradigm and inculcate the men and LGBTQ+ community, alongside women, while discussing sexual offenses.
