Millennium Fellowship Project: SweetieCare - Diabetes Management App

SweetieCare is a digital platform designed to support children and families affected by type 1 diabetes. The platform encompasses three primary aspects: patient data collection and management, communication and support for patients and their families, and academic sharing of professional information.

About the Millennium Fellow

Doris Yuxuan Zhang is an undergraduate student studying psychology and neuroscience at New York University Shanghai. Her current odyssey finds her at NYU Abu Dhabi, where she channels her fervor for diverse subjects—ranging from social justice and education to public health and sustainable development. With an unwavering zeal, she seeks to integrate academic knowledge with pragmatic social practices. The project she carries out is a digital platform enriched with multifaceted functions, designed for children with Type 1 Diabetes and their families. Through this innovation, Doris aims to harness technology's prowess to enhance the lives of diabetes patients and caregivers, while fostering a communal awareness. She envisions a trajectory marked by such purposeful pursuits, aspiring to orchestrate larger impacts as a global citizen.
