Millennium Fellowship Project: Poverty Eradication through Microfinance
Almost all of the population in Zimbabwe is living in extreme poverty, and as a result, there is a great need for programs that can help alleviate poverty and promote economic development in the country. By providing small loans to low-income individuals, the poverty eradication program will have a significant impact on a large number of people in Zimbabwe who are struggling to make ends meet. By providing access to capital and resources that would otherwise be out of reach, the program will help create opportunities for entrepreneurship and job creation, which can have a ripple effect on the broader economy. This means that the positive effects of the program could potentially be felt throughout the entire community, and help break the cycle of poverty for generations to come.
