About the Millennium Fellow
Amarachi Godswill-Nwankwo is a Year 3 Medical Student at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Osun State, Nigeria. Amarachi is passionate about ending underrepresentation of women in leadership and advancing gender equality through girl child women empowerment and education.
Through her project, she hopes to empower young girls with the education and skills they need to become more confident, effective and impactful leaders.
She plans to dedicate her time, resources and efforts towards ensuring that girls and women have the support, resources and community they need to overcome gender stereotypes and norms that hinder them from achieving their full potential.
