Millennium Fellowship Project: Green Future
The project “green future” is about recognizing the urgent need to address the pressing challenge of climate change, where climate change has brought the planet earth on the verge of chaos in the form of droughts, severe storms, rising oceans, habitat loss and so on. If steps are not taken our future can be so devastating not only for humans but for all living creatures.
Keeping in view “a change in individual or a small group of people is always reciprocated in society”, we have tried to bring a positive change in our society by taking various awareness sessions in different schools on how we can address this challenge by engaging the younger generation of our society for the greater good of our planet. Where our focus was on how we can reduce the causes of climate change by taking small steps like using bicycles or the public transport instead of using personal cars, by reducing pollution and by planting more trees.
In our project we planted more than 75 trees to initiate our journey towards a positive change and it will prove itself as an entrée towards a more sustainable future ahead.
