Millennium Fellowship Project: Gyandoo
Gyandoo started with an imagination of impacting people of my society my school or the places I regularly visit. It's primary focus was to make the people aware of LGBTQI+ rights and increase the acceptance of people from the community.
Treating them equally and and even educating people about their rights and in general also regarding the legal awareness that an individual growing in this democratic society must be awared off. This fellowship intern helped me an dill continue working on this project post fellowship also because these causes that impact the society soo muchand cannot be resolved in a period of 3-4 months. I found out that yess people find it hard to accept even today that yes they are trans people . Soo the ultimate aim is to end that temptation or the resistence to com eon front of the society.
About the Millennium Fellow
This is Moulika Sharma a student at Symbiosis law school Noida pursuing BBA LLB.
I was born and brought up in Delhi. I completed my schooling from Sachdeva Public school in the non medical branch with 94% overall and cherry in the cake was 100 in chemistry.
People always question me as to why i changed my branch from science to something law but this is something I always wanted to do .
Advocacy attracts me the most. I aspire to become a JAG or a criminal lawyer who is a pro at it.
Moreover I really enjoyed my litigation internship at Rohini court in the month of Jan and Feb and helped me realise the importance of sex education.
India badly requires it.
Thankyou
