Millennium Fellowship Project: GreenSerene - The Healing Force of Nature

My project's focus is on the different ways nature can improve the wellbeing of
individuals. My generation suffers a great deal from mental and emotional health
challenges, but we are also not the best when it comes to seeking different ways to
help us combat those challenges. My project will emphasize the beauty of our
environment and the way it can heal our minds and bodies. Also because everyone's proximity to nature is different, I would like for my project to include links and websites to local parks, beaches and trails so that people living in urban areas with higher rates of environmental exposure to pollutants know where to find these spots. My project would include events like, Yoga in the Park, Paint in the Park, Beachcombing, Sunset Watching, Riding Bikes along trails, Meditation in the elements. My hope is that my project will significantly improve mental and physical stress.
