Millennium Fellowship Project: Mobile screening for non communicable diseases
The project is aimed at providing free health (diabetis and hypertension) screening services for the elderly people in the underserved communities. Then give appropriate health education once the have been screened.
About the Millennium Fellow
Tsirhaareyam Tsegaye is a 4th year medical student at st.paul Millennium Medical College in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Tsirhaareyam is active participant and event organizer in standing committee of public health at her campus and strives to be part of the solution for burning health care issues in her community. In alignment with Ethiopia's health care policy( focused on prevention), she plans to work on creating awareness in relevant health topics among the community.
