Millennium Fellowship Project: All Voices Heard
The 'All Voices Heard' project on diversity and inclusion aims to establish a more welcoming and all-inclusive campus environment for students at Strathmore University and the community.
Promoting diversity and inclusion aims not only to create an equitable environment at Strathmore University but also to achieve Goal 10 of the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations, reduced inequalities.
Specific actions I would like to take are organizing diversity and inclusion workshops, and hosting cultural events that appreciate diverse backgrounds and experiences of different cultures. I plan to work closely with student organizations and community groups to promote cross-cultural dialogues.
About the Millennium Fellow
Keith Alusa, a vibrant third-year International Studies student at Strathmore University, thrives on both academic pursuits and sports. Apart from diligently advancing in their studies, they exhibit exceptional prowess as a vital player in the school's hockey team. Another school activity he does is being a member of the Strathmore University Media Group. Furthermore, their skills extend beyond campus, as they proudly contribute to Kenya's Under 21 National hockey team. This multifaceted approach to life exemplifies Alusa's enthusiasm for diverse challenges and their commitment to excelling in various arenas.
