Millennium Fellowship Project: Smart Irrigation System
My project will help farmers to irrigate their farms through their phones by use of the Internet of Things (IoT) which has sensors that are programmed to water plants
without the farmer having to do it manually. This will save time and help farmers who
may be physically challenged to maintain their farms.
About the Millennium Fellow
Pauline Wairimu Wang'ombe is a fourth year student at Strathmore University in Nairobi, Kenya pursuing a Bachelors in Business and Information Technology. She has a strong interest in using technology to solve problems in the society. Being a Millennium Fellow will
help her learn more Sustainable Development Goals and help make a positive impact to society.
