Millennium Fellowship Project: ACTing
The project involves textile collection and feeds to a bigger project to ensure sustainable recycling of textiles in Nairobi. It also hopes to spread the message of why it is important to recycle textiles and its adverse effects on our environment.
About the Millennium Fellow
Samita Wambui Mwanicky is a third year student at Strathmore University pursuing a degree in Development studies and Philosophy. She is passionate about the arts and hopes to achieve deeper conversations around sustainability especially in the Pan-African perspective. As a lover of adventure, she hopes to achieve meaningful conversations and collaborations around sustainability in a holistic manner.
