Millennium Fellowship Project: Education for street and slum area children in Sylhet, Bangladesh.

An inclusive educational program that passionately uplifts street and slum children in the city of Sylhet, Bangladesh, by granting them equitable access to quality education and fostering holistic development opportunities. With the core vision of breaking the vicious cycle of poverty, this transformative project aspires to empower these marginalized children, instilling in them the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to construct a brighter and more promising future for themselves and their respective community.

About the Millennium Fellow

Habibur Rahman Masrur, a dedicated student in the Department of Political Studies at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Sylhet, Bangladesh, is a passionate advocate for quality education and social transformation. Through his profound engagement in the Social Accountability Fellowship and his endeavors to educate street children, Habibur has exhibited a profound grasp of their challenges. As an organizer for Manobsheba Foundation and the visionary founder of Ideal Young Society, he has orchestrated impactful events, fostered dialogue and catalyzed positive societal shifts. Habibur's research ability, skillful program presentations, compelling content writing, and eloquent public speaking reflect his ability to galvanize change. Notable accolades, including recognition from the Social Accountability Fellowship and honors from Al Midad Students Council and ICON Foundation Bangladesh, underscore his dedication and efficacy in driving tangible change.
His ambitious project aims to uplift street and slum children in Sylhet, Bangladesh, through an inclusive educational initiative. This transformative endeavor seeks to provide equitable access to quality education and comprehensive development prospects, envisioning a future where marginalized children break the cycle of poverty.
