Millennium Fellowship Project: Mental Health Awareness Campaign

Title: Promoting Mental Health Awareness Campaign

Objective: The primary objective of our mental health awareness campaign is to educate and destigmatize mental health issues within our community. By fostering understanding, empathy, and open communication, we aim to create an environment that supports mental well-being and encourages seeking help when needed.

About the Millennium Fellow

Abdulmajid Mahmud Dabo, an undergraduate student of medical laboratory science at Taraba State University, is a dedicated public health enthusiast with in interest in mental health. With a passion for ensuring equitable access to accurate health information for all, regardless of social class, he has volunteered extensively to drive sustainable change within his community. As a devoted advocate for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 3 , Abdulmajid sees the Millennium Fellowship as an opportunity to further his mission. He envisions leveraging the knowledge, skills, and experiences gained from the fellowship to realize his dream of creating an informed and health-conscious society.
