Millennium Fellowship Project: Sustainable Home Gardening.
Due to the impending drought,I have sought ways to which one can produce food which can not only sustain us but also can be sold to get a livelihood.Through use of modernized technology,I am using hydroponic solution whereby roots of plants are suspended in nutrient water and thrive since they acquire every nutrient they need.Apart from that,I am also practicing farming in sacks and tanks whereby soil is put in the respective sacks and tanks and plant crops and therefore this does not require alot of space.So I am striving to teach people this type of farming since everyone will benefit handsomely from this.Some of the benefits are;
1)The youth will be empowered and they will stop abusing drugs.
2)It will curb the impending hunger whereby people will be able to grow their own crops and feed themselves.
Some of the vegetables and fruits I'm growing are kales,capsicum, passion fruits , pepper and pineapples.
