Millennium Fellowship Project: Alternative Rite of Passage

We aim at holding a forum at December with teenage girls from Chepalungu Consituency to educate them on importance of girl child education as well as teach against female genital mutilation, teenage pregnancies and early marriages. This is a menace in our society especially every december due to long holidays that allow enough time for FGM

About the Millennium Fellow

Sharon Chepkorir Maritim is a 4th year student at the Technical University of Kenya studying Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Diplomacy. She is a go-getter, an ambitious girl with an aim of bringing positive change in her community. She is passionate about diversity of people and culture, and through learning international relations she has embraced the art of inclusivity of diverse opinions and ideas.
