About the Millennium Fellow

My Name Is Lawrence Kosgei, I come from Mombasa Kenya, A Mechanical Engineering student at The Technical University of Mombasa. I am currently working on a project to eradicate marine plastic waste in the informal settlement by turning it into school infrastructure.

After his undergraduate studies, he intends to pursue a Masters in Material Science and Engineering, aiming to design synthetic plastics that will drastically reduce plastic production and lead to the complete elimination of marine plastic waste. His goal is to contribute significantly to environmental sustainability through innovative materials and processes.
