Millennium Fellowship Project: EcoRevival Pakistan
Pakistan is a country vulnerable to climate change. Climate induced disaster have been quite frequent in last decade, affecting the isolated and urban communities, displacing masses, destroying infrastructure and agriculture. For an economically strained country like Pakistan, coping with such problems is a big challenge, as it leads to too many other problems like food insecurity, shelter issue, migration, unemployment and unhygienic living conditions. To help mitigate these problem, 2 Environmental Sciences students from University of Agriculture Faisalabad, founded a student organization to educate and empower the vulnerable Pakistani communities to become resilient enough to cope or avoid climate induced disasters with sustainable, cheap (free) and nature-based solutions
