Millennium Fellowship Project: Period. Don't Stop.
This project revolves around destigmatising conversations around menstrual health. It invites people not limited by gender to come together and talk openly and without judgement about their experiences with menstrual health, policies and practices that affect this experience, and sharing information of how menstrual health can look like around the world.
About the Millennium Fellow
Lydia Chen is a final-year student in Urban Studies, Politics and German at University College London. She is passionate about the stories of women and girls, both extraordinary and everyday. Through her project, she hopes to help chip away at the long-standing taboos around menstruation and female health through creating a platform for discussing personal experiences and highlighting stories that have long been sidelined. Through her studies, she has developed a deep interest in the de-industrialisation journeys of different cities and is passionate about the intersection between liveability, gender equality and sustainability in our urban landscapes.
