Millennium Fellowship Project: ACCESS OF HEALTH CARE SERVICES TO PATIENTS REMOTELY
The TELEMEDICINE PLATFORM enables patients to access healthcare services remotely, regardless of their geographical location or physical limitations, schedule virtual appointments and consultations from the comfort of their homes, eliminating the need to travel to a physical healthcare facility, consult with specialists who may be located in a different city, continuity of care for patients with chronic conditions allows for regular check-ins, medication management, and ongoing monitoring, enabling healthcare providers to intervene early and prevent complications, reducing waiting times and enabling timely access to healthcare professionals
About the Millennium Fellow
Beatrice Mwaisumbe is an aspiring IT professional, Design Thinker and project manager working with the Youth for Children Innovation Hub, where she has the privilege of being part of a dynamic team focused on leveraging Information and communication technology to solve sustainable development goals (SDGs).
She is devoted to bringing positive change to all aspects of society, from the environment to the economy to education.
