Millennium Fellowship Project: Voices of The Unheard

My project centers on gender inequality and violence, specifically focusing on women and children, however not excluding the young men who suffer as well. My ultimate goal is to create a safe environment for all and end all forms of GBV.

About the Millennium Fellow

Josephine Munene is a 3rd year International Relations student at United States International University Africa located in Kenya. She is passionate about women and children's rights, especially with regards to protecting them from violence and abuse, be it physically, mentally or emotionally. She aspires to be able to create a safe environment within her community and further cooperate with larger organizations in order to have a larger and far reaching impact. Gender equality is the SGD that resonates the most with her hence the chosen project.
