Millennium Fellowship Project: For My Sisters
"For My Sisters" is a transformative project that aims to address an essential need for girls in underprivileged communities: access to sanitary towels. This initiative champions the provision of free, quality sanitary towels to girls who lack reliable access, empowering them to break barriers and focus on their education and personal growth.
About the Millennium Fellow
Poni Dyanga Andrew is an international relations and environmental studies junior at United States International University Africa who is passionate about the pragmatic solutions to the water & environmental crisis facing the horn of Africa. Her project's aims to lay the foundational blocks of sustainability & environmental consciousness in citizens of South Sudan. Upon graduation, Poni plans to explore other environmentally related fields of study like sustainable urban planning.
