" While medicine is popularly claimed to be all about the intellectual challenge to diagnose and treat a condition, medical practice primarily stems from a sincere desire to create a meaningful impact in people's lives. Recognizing that volunteering for a social cause achieves the same goal, I have always tried to contribute my level best to societal impact. As a Millennium Fellow, I was able to deliver my services to a substantially larger group of people. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Thrive

Project THRIVE was an awareness drive, targeted to improve the understanding of Diabetes in the geriatric population. We educated diabetic patients on the lifestyle modifications that need to be undertaken, complications and symptoms to look out for, and reinforced the importance of complaince to the medical regimen, with an emphasis on timely medication.
