" Working collaboratively while meeting people with different ideas. Defining goals that I know will help the community. These are some of the thoughts that motivate and excite me and that came to my mind when we were accepted as Fellows. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Rutas Sostenibles

Our project was divided into two phases, the first was a set of virtual talks related to
sustainable construction, it lasted two hours and the presentations were led by 4
professionals in the area. The second phase of the project was the donation of various school supplies such as books, pencils and erasers to an organization of our university, in charge of delivering them to the García Moreno commune in December.

About the Millennium Fellow

Anahi Mera Morocho is a very dedicated and responsible student at the Escuela Superior Politecnica del Litoral who throughout her student career has sought the means to participate in extracurricular activities that help her develop academic and social skills. In this search she found volunteering and sustainability, which came to give her a new vision of life. If there is something important to do on Earth, it is to take care of it and help each other who live on it. She was born in the city of El Triunfo and has lived in La Troncal ever since. At the age of 19, when the pandemic ended, she moved alone to Guayaquil to attend her in-person university classes. However, every weekend she visits her family, her driving force in life.
