" Advancing the emotional, social and mental well being causes in my community has been a long time goal for me. The Millennium Fellowship offers the perfect platform to make progress towards this dream by pitching various awareness based and skill based seminars within my campus and beyond. By the end of the project, I hope to have played my part in creating a more inclusive, kind and self aware society. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: EmotiZen

EmotiZen seeks to propel SDG 3: Good Helath and Wellbeing and SDG 4: Quality Education on our university campus and beyond by focusing on the mental and emotional wellbeing causes specifically. To do so, we planned three events:
1: A workshop for students and faculty members on Emotional Regulation and Stress Management in the workplace (already executed in collaboration with our university's Armacost Psychological Society) 2: A Teaher Training Session on 'Compassionate Disciplining and Bias Free Teaching' in collaboration with the Department of Education of our university. (Currently in process)
3: An Art Therapy Workshop for the students at the Qadam NGO. In collaboration with the Restorative Niche (a creative arts space in Lahore, Pakistan).
