Millennium Fellowship Project: Safe Cyberspace For All

Safe Cyberspace for All (SCFA) is a project dedicated to raising awareness about the core principles of cybersecurity, specifically the CIA triad (Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability). These principles are essential for ensuring information is secure and trustworthy before it is disseminated online. With the increasing prevalence of doctored information on the internet, cyber threats and attacks have become significant global issues, posing risks to both private organizations and government sectors. Through extensive research and collaboration with colleagues, we analyzed the potentially devastating impacts of cyberattacks, concluding that addressing this issue requires global attention and proactive measures.
As the project lead, I coordinated a team of six like-minded individuals. Together, we identified that empowering cyberspace users especially the younger generation with knowledge on safeguarding themselves and responding effectively to cyber threats is the most sustainable way to mitigate risks and promote a safer digital environment for all.
