Millennium Fellowship Project: Empowering The Underpower
My project is to provide early or primary level of education to underprivileged children and then to get them enrolled in primary schools,Fund raising for continuation of their education.I am working along with one of my university society for this.Moreover in order to change parents orthodox beliefs regarding girls right to education,I along with teachers in my local community schools are giving awareness and guidance session to parents too.
About the Millennium Fellow
Husna Noor is a hardworking student with the passion of learning, growth and improvement.She is a study of Allied health sciences at Rawalpindi medical university, Pakistan majoring in Orthotics and prosthetics.She is an advocate of women education and gender equality.She hail from a small village and her being the first girl in her family studying in a university makes her strong candidate to change norms and orthodox traditions associated with a typical brown household.She strongly believe that education is an essential and important tool to shape the future of her county.Through this program she has high hopes to contribute towards noble goals.Her interpersonal skills as well as her journey being a leader will be carved through this program.
